On June 4th we closed the bakery to go on a staff strawberry picking adventure. It was a beautiful day! The sun was shining and it wasn’t too warm. It was a short drive to Jerry’s Berries in Baltimore, Ohio. They have a lovely farm with a little pond.
Their farming practices are pesticide and chemical free which is why who picked this farm to visit! They gave us boxes and we set out to pick. The rows were labeled with the different varieties of strawberries. 
If you had a slice of our amazing strawberry pie at the bakery last month it was using local strawberries picked on this trip!
We would highly recommend visiting their farm and picking your own next summer. It was a lot of fun and the strawberries are delicious!
